Some paths we pick. Others pick us.
Our journey may be intentional or maybe it was by fate. Meticulously planned or accidental, either way, we are on it.
Choices, decisions, uncertainty, regrets – this is our contract with life.
Finding comfort with our path in life, by choice or by default, is the remedy to misery.
Psychological surrender means not giving up; rather, embracing the truths that surround you. Somethings, it turns out, cannot be controlled or orchestrated. They just are. And fighting them is a force against nature that ultimately fails. We cannot bring back the dead. We cannot turn back time. We cannot change the hearts of others. We cannot reverse aging. We cannot undue what is done. But we can embrace the path that is before us now. Every step matters.
