What just happened in that hour?
You thought you had nothing new to talk about. It’s “maintenance” after all. The “I know I should but I don’t really want to” feeling. Believe me I get it. I’ve been in my own therapy journey most of my adult life.
After the crisis when things start to get better, well, that’s where the real work starts.
Because when we are in the crisis it’s the old patterns and behaviours that show up. When we are out of the cycle that is the time to really examine and learn more about ourselves, our habits and limiting beliefs. We can unpack what reoccurring behaviours gets us less of what we want and why we can’t seem to break through the barriers that hold us back.
And then, you can take a nap.
