Season.
“In this season so full of light there is a darkness that fills my heart.
I’m not alone, this much is known.
Lights shine bright in others nights while mine looks on, rested upon.”
So many who have held back the tears, drowning in smiles while the truth floats below the surface.
The heartbreak of loss, the devastating decisions, the questions and never clear answer. Peace that is a season which seems to bypass the doorsteps of the heavy hearted.
Among these times of warmth and great joy, there is also a heaviness for those of us, the brave and broken-hearted.
It is ok to be both grateful and full of despair. It is reasonable to have moments of warmth and suffer endless frozen feelings. We are human, built for duality and indeed, this journey of life.
